Screen problems on an FE41M laptop

Geforce Gom7400 Driver 7.15.10.9813.

The screen freezes, the computers suddenly stops and then the screen shuts down and then comes back with an error of which I don't have at the moment.

I've done a system restore, updated drivers from Sony's website yet nothing seems to solve the issue.

It does seem that there are no drivers to update to, according to Problems to Report and Solutions section (Follow these steps to troubleshoot problems with NVIDIA Graphics Driver
This problem was caused by NVIDIA Graphics Driver, which was created by NVIDIA Corporation. Currently, there is no solution for the problem that you reported.)

Any help would be great

Hi Mark and welcome to Club Vaio.

Try installing this much more recent nVidia driver version 167.43 for Vista: -

It supports installation on the nVidia Go 7400.

If for some reason it is less effective than your old driver, you can always 'Roll Back' to the old driver.
