recovery disk

hi

i know that you can buy new recovery disks from sony

what it is that has me woundering is this my vaio pcv-rs224 is offrered with both windows xp home and pro

i was unable to get the one that came with pro but can i ring sony and get a recovery disk that is pro instead of home since my desktop is offered with both i thought that might be possible and would cost a great deal cheaper i imagine

if anyone knows if this is possible then please let me know

You could try calling them and asking, or If you see one for sale on eBay you could ask the seller to make a copy of the Disk's but they might want a fee for it.
