Hi,
As many pro users I have re-installed my Vaio with the ENGLISH XP Pro edition instead of the DUTCH Home edition. Before I erased my machine I copied the "Drivers" and "Utils" folders from my native system.
The re-installe went smooth, but when I needed to re-install drivers it got difficult. Most drivers folders are easy to match to a device, but some are a bit harder, certainly when no UNKOWN devices are present anymore.
Finally, with a lot of searching, I have managed to install all but these few problems are left :
- SmartConnectInf : I can't find a device to match with this INF
- BlueTooth_driver : I can run the setup, but when I turn on BT, he the computer finds new HW : UGX. When I link this to the ALPSBTM.inf I get the message that a section is missing in the INF file.
I would appreciate some help from fello Vaio people with this. Not that BT is a real must for me, but I would like to have my system 100% ok before making my own Image on DVD for recovery purposes.
