I am trying to install an ACT database on my Vario running Vista but i get a message: Forced Protocol Encryption (FPE) for Microsoft SQL server is enabled, please disable FPE from the SQL server config manager. When going to the SQL config manager there is no facility to do this!!
Could the problem be that the Vario has its own SQL server and is conflicting with the microsoft one, if so can i uninstall the Vario SQL server?
I have been trying to install the ACT contact database for months, i may have to resort to a total re-format on the hard drive but want to avoid this if possible.
Any help would be appreciated.
