CAN ANY ONE HELP I HAVE A VGN-FJ3S/W AND A 32" HD SAMSUNG TV

I HAVE THE RIGHT CONNECTS BUT WILL NOT WORK I HAVE UPDATED EVERY THING OF THE OFFICE SONY UPDATE SITE AND STILL NO LUCK...

I HAVE READ OTHER FORUMS AND THEY SAY DOWNLOAD A BIOS UPDATE WHICH I HAVE TRYED BUT ITS NOT THE CORRECT ONE FOR THIS LAP TOP...

IF ANYONE KNOWS THE ANSWER ILL BE SO GREATFULL OR ANY SUGESTIONS

Hi supers8ke and welcome to Club Vaio.

Hopefully someone will come up with a solution but it is unlikely. There is a basic incompatibility between some Vaios and some Samsung displays when using the VGA connection.

We have seen this regularly but I don't remember a reliable solution. Some success was found by a few members by ending the Vaio Event Service but this did not work for most users.

A solution is to use a VGA to S-Video converter box like this one: -
