MusicStation on Vaio error X912

Updated MusicStation to get past the first error - now im getting MusicStation has encountered a problem while trying to register your account (ref X912)

any thoughts ?

I too have the same error.  I have no idea and not getting much help..

I was told to upgrade same but since than its not working!

I'm having the same problem caused by uninstalling the programme - as could not get to website to download "my tracks". Re-installed and then got - contact customer support ref x912. Any ideas?

It is now sorted - I just waited a few days & the installation completed without a problem - lost all my playlists though:smileyangry:.

I am an IT expert. I have reproduced this on two different models of Vaio and it is clear to me that whilst the original pre-loaded version works which in trial period, if your trial expires or the update is applied (an update that is not shown in the Vaio updates but only within MusicStation) that the user receives the X912 msg.

Discussion with Sony indicated that they had no previous reports and no idea how to resolve or escalate except to advise users to return to factory default WIn 7 installation. Great! not!
