Does anyone know, how can I set CPU speed on Vaio PCG-FX405?
It's an old model, but still ok for Internet browsing. I've installed a diagnostic tool and realized, that actual CPU speed is 500mHZ,instead of maximum 1000mHZ. I would like to increase the speed as I only use with the power cord. I think vaio idea was to decrease CPU speed to extend battey life. I don't need this opption, but can't find anything related on BIOS. There is no CPU speed setting option.
