FZ11Z complete factory settings question

Hi there.


Ive had my vaio for over a year now.Its an f11z.Im not expert by any means but the time has come for a factory reset.I understand i will lose all of my files and so on, but will i lose the software it came pre loaded with?

Since i have no disks with it to reinstall from i dont want to lose programmes like the blu ray programmes and so on.

How should i go about my factory reset? Since i have only done this on a desktop with the necessary disks?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi DrContinental,

the Vaio Recovery Utility will return your Vaio to the original 'As new' state, this includes the Vista operating system and the pre-installed applications..

Click Start, All Programs, then Vaio Recovery Tool and finally Vaio Recovery Utility..

Click Continue on the User Account Control window

Once the Vaio Recovery Center window opens

Select Restore C: Drive then press Start..

then follow the recovery wizard..
