FE41ZR & 4GB RAM

I have subj (FE41ZR) with 4GB of RAM (ocz, ddr-2, 667 MHz, 2x2048 mb), but BIOS (R0200J3) show only 3070 mb. XP&Linux (openSuse) don't start. Vista (32 bit and 64 bit) work fine, but Vista (64 bit) see only 3070 mb too. Somebody knows, when will be released new BIOS with support 4GB of RAM? Sony knows about this problem or not?

As you say, the FE-Series BIOS (among others) has a 3GB maximum RAM.

Sony are aware but don't hold your breath - a new BIOS is unlikely to be released soon because the Sony specifications for the FEZR say Maximum RAM = 2048MB (Not Upgradable) and there is no Sony support for 64-bit Windows.

and no chance?( it's too bad( i hope, sony will be release new BIOS version... In fact 945PM chipset and motherboard support 4GB of RAM, problem only in BIOS...
