DLNA on VGX desktop series

Hi, i have a VGX-XL201 upgraded from factory default XP to Win7.  I wonder what i need to do to enable DLNA please?  I have a Pioneer surround sound system which is supposed to play media from other DLNA devices, however the VAIO only appears as a CIFS device.

When connecting in this way i hit buffering problems.

I have DLNA devices, but I am still in Vista OS. I am not sure if upgrading to Windows 7 is the case.
