Hi,
I've just bought my new FS395VP with Logitech V200 cordless optical mouse. Regarding the user manual, I attached the mouse, installed it's drivers, but... it's not working.
System detects the USB device, Device manager shows a Logitech HID-compliant, mouse's battery are OK. But on the start of installing it's drivers, Logitech installer has warned me because of "conflict" with detected touchpad and advised me to "attach the mouse to USB port" after installation.
Does anybody have any advice what to do? Thanks a lot.
My best advice would be don't install the Logitech drivers - Your USB mouse will work fine anyway. As you have already found installing the Logitech drivers/software just causes conlicts with your already installed touchpad drivers.
Unfortunately, this doesn't works (= installing only Microsoft's drivers for the mouse). Have any other advices?
Sorry, don't understand it!
You should just be able to plug the mouse in and it should work without installing ANY drivers,
William
Oh, this doesn't work either - system only detects USB device, but don't know it's a mouse.
The only further suggestion I can give is:
Try add/remove programs and delete any Logitech stuff that installed.
and/or try an earlier restore point.
