clean install of Vista and the infamous nvlddmkm.sys trouble!?

To the experts here:

I just did a clean install of Vista Ultimate 32bit on my 3 years old S3XP (now with 2GB memory and a 160 GB Hybrid HD). On Vaio-link.com, there is no driver listed for Vista for this model, only utils and dlls. Seems Vista can deal with most of the devices out of the box.

Comes to the video driver, which is for the NVidia Geforce 6200 Go, I think Vista managed to get the driver from Windows Update. All drived and working, then I began to get this nvlddmkm.sys issue. That is, randomly you'll get blank screen while playing video, 3D, or even open 4 PDFs together, then a message box: nvlddmkm.sys stopped responding, ...... and recovered.

I googled this and can't find a simple/single solution.

Anyone here got the same problem? Any solutions?

(I tried to search the forum first, but the search isn't working, so sorry if there is already thread about this.)

Thanks and regards,

Dong Xie
