I shut down my vaio this morning the correct way. When i came to start it a few hours later, it gave me the options to repair startup or start windows normal as it said windows was not shut down correctly ( it was shut down the right way).
When i select start windows normally, the bar at the bottom that says microsoft corporation appears, the screen flashes and then goes back to the launch startup repair/ start windows normally screen.
I have launched start up repair, but that doesn't seem to have worked. At some point in the process, it gave me the option to do a system restore, which it said was successfull, but upon re starting the laptop, the latop wouldn't start and was taken back to the startup repair/start windows normally screen again.
Has my laptop died? or is there a way to fix it?
