I have Windows XP SP3 installed on my VAIO VGN-TZ32VN. The Bluetooth on the laptop works perfectly, apart from the fact that it seems to be initially switched off when the computer starts up. If I go to My Bluetooth Places after system start and click "View devices in range", I get the alert "No local Bluetooth device was detected". To get the Bluetooth to work, I have to right click on the Bluetooth icon in the Windows task bar notification area and select "Bluetooth configuration" from the pop up menu. After a couple of seconds, my Sony Bluetooth mouse will start working. I don’t actually change anything on the Bluetooth Configuration dialog, I just need to wait. Now if I click "Search for devices in range" on My Bluetooth Places, the mouse is found.
Does anyone know how I can get my Bluetooth to work without this hassle? The Bluetooth drivers are up to date.
Thanks
