Backup for notebook; any suggestions?

Hi, now I know I don't have Blu-ray on my VGN-AR31M I am wondering how to do a backup of my vaio with about 100Gb occupied on my harddisk; this will take 20 DVD's also? After having this vaio over a year I decided it was time for a backup , but now I don't feel like it, I already started, but it takes forever and I have to change disks everytime, will be a maraton of 24hours it looks like, a bit weird. The backup option in windows doesn't offer any selection; all or nothing it appears... Any suggestions? Many thanks in advance. Regards from Peru.

Have a look at what you are backing up - there is no need to back up any of the preinstalled software as you already have recovery media.
