I recently got a new FE21M, which I have to install for its final user. Since the installed MediaCenterEdition of Windows does not help in our XP-Pro Environment, I made backup copies of the two DVDs and installed XP-Pro.
And the problems began 😞
I have an PCI-Device in the Devicemanager which I can't install any driver for (I tried every driver in the "Drivers"-Directory) and I can't install the Audiodrivers. Whenn starting the included setup.exe, I get the message, that the Device Object is not available and to restart the notebook and try again (which I did, several times).
In the Device Manager, there are Legacy-Audiodevices, but i can't uninstall them (nothing works with them).
Has anyone some ideas how to solve these problemes?
Thanks in advance, Thomas
Hi m8,
I have the FE21H and have just the same problem.
I had an german Version of Windpws, so I installed the XP pro EN. And since the NO SOUND... Did you somehow find a way to fix this problem ? Thanks
