Sony Bravia KD65XE7093 bought from Amazon UK

I have attached a community response from a Sony Agent who states that for registration purposes the KD-65XE7093 model should be registered as a model KD-65XE7003. I have no problem with this however, in particular does that mean the firmware intended for the KD-65XE7003 can also be applied manually to the KD-65XE7093 without any issues?

I guess this is true. Both TVs run on the same exact software which is Linux. Any software update released for the KD-65XE7003 will work with the KD-65XE7093.
