No NOWTV app or Google Play store to purchase from

Just got a Sony Bravia KDL-50WF663 to replace my ailing Samsung,i now find it does not come with the NowTV app-essential as there are only two episodes of Game Of Thrones left-plus no Google Play store to buy the app from.I`ve read online that the Now TV app is not compatible with most Sony Bravia tv`s so you can`t use/upload it,any ideas if this is the case...also my new tv is a Smart tv,does this mean it is also an Android tv or not ?

Hello Mike2112,

This could be disappointing! I've just checked the available information of this TV on the Sony website. It doesn't run Android. It runs Linux. Hence, I don't think you'll have PlayStore or the same apps that are available on Android sets.
