How do I dismantle the KDL50w685a? I have taken all the visible screws out?

I have removed all visible screws by the covers remain firmly attached. Are there screws hidden under labels? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Most likely the cover is also secured by some clamps etc.

Hi Peter,

Many thanks for this. Whilst the model numbers are different it does look like the same TV and the link to the service manuals is brilliant as I was really struggling to find anything on line at all.

Looking at the manual and trouble shooting guide it does look as if I have a T-Con board issue rather than a panel issue. So that's where I will start once I get the covers off :-).
