How can I get audio input signal on my Bravia (Mac input) ?
I am trying to hook up my Apple Mac Mini's headphone output (via mini jack to 2 x phono cable) to the audio inputs on my Bravia HDTV. No matter which input ports I use I cannot get any sound. I've tried navigating the TV menu system for answers but to no avail. Incidentally, the menu tells me there are no external components connected even when I have the phono plugs connected from the Mac.

I used a mini jack from a macbook (circa 2006) to the PC/HDMI/AUDIO input and sound was fine.
The cable you describe work fine with ipod/iphone, perhaps there is different software involved in different computers/ipods, hence the reason you can't get any audio.
minijack to minijack can easily be found for undera tenner.
Hope this helps.
