i lost 3G coverage after upgrading my Xperia Tx to JB

i unboxed Xperia Tx with ICS 4.0.4 , i used a gsm sim.. it was OK, then i used a 3G sim, and it also was OK

after upgrading To JB 4.1.2, gsm sim still working Ok, but when i use the 3G sim i dnt get any coverage at all, just like the phone is not reading th sim card ... how can i fix it ??

double check the APN settings also if it might be a faulty SIM card or it could be an intrusive app acting up

uninstall them > restart your phone and check again

i can't get APN settings because there's no 3G coverage to recieve the settings

SIM card works on other 3g devices and modems

no programs installed on phone ..

3G was working on phone before upgrade .. so it's not a hardware problem

who is your carrier and which country?

enter them manually

settings > more > mobile networks > access point names > menu > add New > enter the info > menu > save

HI .. i SOLVED the problem

check the pic attached.......

when i bought the phone, i was using SIM card number 1 on ICS 4.0.4 .. 3g was working with full coverage

after upgrading to JB 4.1.2, SIM card number 1 is not working any more because it's not compatible with JB 4.1.2 .. so 3G was not working anymore, and there was no 3G coverage at all

i went to the GSM company, and they gave me SIM card number 2, which is compatible with JB 4.1.2

and now 3G line is working again with full coverage.. like charm

yeah, I've seen that many times and some users don't believe me when I say that the SIM card could cause certain issues
