Xperia Aqua M4 CONNECT TO TV

I've got a Sony xperia aqua M4 and I want to connect it up to my TV (using a wire) I don't have a Sony TV or a smart TV, so mirroring is no good and I know that the M4 does not support MHL, can't seem to find anything that comes up, everything just says MIRROR, SMART CONNECT OR MHL, none of these are any good, any ideas from anyone of any alternatives, would really appreciate any help. If your device does not support MHL and you don't have a Chromecast type dongle connected then there's nothing that can be done

Can anybody tell me what I need to buy to stream media such as " you tube " from my M4 aqua to my TV which is not a smart TV, but is is LED and has USB and hdmi connections.

You can buy a chromecast, you can use it with phones, tablets, etc

Chromecast dongle doesn't seem to work with some apps like BFI and Curzon Home cinema although I have a smart tv and can get BBC, Itv player, All4.
Why is this? My phone is an Xperia M4 Aqua.

You must have Sony Bravia TV so you can connect

Aqua/M4 Xperia suppoerts MHL/USB>HDMI. You just need the cable..
