my partner has just bought this product for me and I have a new ipod with the new lightening connection to fit this model, but I cant use the remote with it apart from skipping to the next track rather than go through the menu of the ipod which is very frustrating as you need to go up to it and control from the ipod itself and seems to totally defeat the point of this product! Can you advise if there is a way to use the remote to control the ipod?
