Connecting my soundbar

My Sony BDP-S3700 Blu-ray player has two Out connections, the HDMI OUT is connected to my TV which leaves the Digital Coaxial OUT to connect to my soundbar, which has an HDMI IN and an aux IN. Is there a way of connecting the BDP-S3700 Blu-ray player to the soundbar?

Please tell me exactly what I need to connect these devices before I go completely insane.

Hi @davegahan114,

you simply need to connect your TV to the soundbar, either with a HDMI cable from the TVs HDMI-ARC port to the Soundbar or via a Toslink cable. Then the audio signal will go from the Player to your TV which will forward it to the soundbar.

Thanks. I can connect the TV and sound bar by HDMI, but what do I connect the Blu-ray player to, and how?
