Notification LED

Hi Everyone

My daughter just bought me a Sony Ericsson E (C1504). It is running Android 4.1.1 and I have a couple problems and was wondering if anyone could help.

1.  I can not send MMS messages although I can receive them (and send normal SMS)

2. The blue notification LED is not flashing to let me know when I have missed calls or messages
(I searched the boards and came across 'Stamina mode' - mine is switched off and I still have this problem.)

Any help you could provide would be most deeply appreciated.

Thank you,

Viv

1. Double check the APN settings

settings > Xperia > internet settings

2. Messaging > menu > settings > notifications

Thank you all so much!

I can now see the blue flashing LED notifying me of missed calls and messages but I still can not send MMS messages.

I have checked the APN as suggested. Should I start a new thread for this problem?

Go to settings > more > mobile networks > access point names > tap on your network > double check them

who is your carrier/network?

In my C1505 (Vodafone Netherlands) there is an option settings > Xperia > Internetsettings, to download settings for internet access and MMS.

Thank you for responding Uliwooly!

I've gone through the Access Point Names to no avail.  I'm with Vodafone and have gone through their online set up process

Hi Paraben - thanks so much for responding! I did exactly that through the Australian Vodafone website but that still doesn't work. I don't understand - I can send sms messages fine!
