Sony KD-55AG8 Internet connectivity for some Apps only - Netflix keeps working!

I have a peculiar issue from time to time. My TV is connected to the internet over a wired Ethernet connection. I get an error saying Ethernet not connected and BBC iPlayer, Amazon Prime and Disney+ do not connect or load. However Netflix keeps working and connecting. Switching on the WiFi does not change anything. The television is clearly connected to the internet but the other Apps are not able to use the connection. The wired LAN connection status shows connected. The 5 second poet reset or unplugging/replugging does not help. 
Any suggestions?

Have you tried going into Settings and checking that the clock is set to Network? I've just done this and it seems to have sorted a similar set of symptoms.

Thanks hvgoddard. For some reason the Automatic Date and Time was set to Off. Changing it to ‘Network’ as you suggested worked immediately.
