They’ve told me to go to an approved repair centre and then get a price.
Even though it’s clearly their fault and that the fault has caused the mainboard to fry! They know how much their parts cost surely? More complaint needed as they keep fobbing me off that this isn’t a wide scale problem!

Why can’t they do it for us.so fed up with tv now looks like buying another
android tv but not Sony!

Well let me know how you get on.ive told customer service to look there
forum and see how many people are complaining about this.i can’t phone them
again because I end up loosing it.all we need is to oust post on and see
how many who’s having problems since new update then sending it as email
with screen shot

Yeh same, can’t handle the phone centre as it’s all so scripted and clearly not somebody who’s there to coordinate a repair.

i have the same issue , although they haven’t closed it off yet.
You will see the ext naive debugging i’ve done as well and their answer
im in Uk with 5 year john lewis warranty, so in 10 days they will be my next port of call.
so obvious it’s update related, if only we could roll back via USB install

I’m just fed up getting fobbed off all the time.something needs doing about
