Cannot sort out my SONY accounts en routs to using an Android phone as a remote
I have spent over 2 hours on this and I'm about to brick my sony TV. It all started when my Oppo Realme 6 Android phone would not connect to my KD-55AF8 TV purchased in Dec 2019 and updated to 1.61.329909, although they are shown as paired on both the TV and the phone they will not talk to each other -I have been through the TV's setup and everything looks correct. It seems that sony has changed its types of account and by now I have typed in the TV model, my age and type of TV more times to try and log on more time than I've had hot dinners. I have had "password change" emails from them at least twice but I then cannot log on. I am not a noddy user (my password safe has over 400 entries) but Sony's user interface must be about the worst, most verbose and least intelligible of any that I've used. Is there a human being in SONY UK who can see what has gone on, clean up the mess, and help me get going? I am at the point of giving up on this and am VERY exasperated. BTW, I am 80, have cancer and have had a stroke. I have used IT ever since the late 1960s.

The Sony logon servers appear to be having all sorts of problems over the last 48 hours. I managed to log on to the community after the tenth attempt. I can’t be bothered myself, but you could report it to Sony Support if you want to contact a Sony human being. This is a common issue with Sony’s log on servers.
