it’s embarrassing!!!!
i have a £25 Roku in the spare bedroom that is more equipped than my Sony KD49XG9005 4K ‘HDR’ TV
NO BritBox App
NO Apple TV+ App
HORRENDOUS HDR on Netflix App that I cannot adjust due to Sony’s incompetence
I won’t get updates for some pathetic reasons.
I gave only ever bought Sony since 1998.
this is the worst TV I have ever had because of the expectations that Sony gave to it’s customers when it came out.
i want it swapped out but that would only cost me more.
if I had bought it from a Sony store I would return it. It was well under the Sony price and I was so excited to think I had a great TV!!!!!

You do realize that app support is something the developed decides to provide for any given device, right? If Apple don't want their app on Roku, it wouldn't be there. Sony isn't liable for which apps are supported. They have Android with support for Google Play, but what gets published on there isn't strictly there responsibility.
