Sony Summer Cashback Timescales

Hi,

I purchased a Sony a6000 with 16-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens from John Lewis on 13th July and submitted my cashback claim on the 13th of August. 

It has now been one week since I submitted my claim and I haven't heard anything from Sony except the initial 'Thanks for your claim' email.

I was wondering if anyone knows a rough timescale between communications from Sony, as I know that once it is approved the money will be in my account within 28 days, I just wanted to know how long it takes to get to that point!

I'm not sure how long the process would take, but I would assume it depends on how busy the team are in processing these cashback claims.

You could try giving them a call on 020 7365 2810 and they will be happy to advise you further.

Mine was about a week.Stil cant understand the daft idea! What is the point of charging £100 too much ,just to reclaim it back.
