I've had two Sony A7IV cameras, and both have given me a problem with the focusing. It happens randomly where I go to focus on something, but the focus just freezes and the only way to resolve this is to switch the camera on/off. This happens when I use various lenses including Sony & the last time it happened was with my Tamron 50-400 lens.
The first camera I had, Sony said there was nothing wrong with the camera. I then replaced it with my current one, but the problem still exists. There are some posts on here that talks about this issue but the posts go back to 2022. I want to love the Sony A7iv but these experiences are now putting me off.
I'm curious to know if anyone else encounters this problem? My camera is out of warranty.
