On my 32W705C Bravia, I do not see the Scart Rec On in Options.

I have my Sony RDR-GX120 connected via LIne 1 to the TV via a SCART cable and I can play DVDs, but I wish to record what I see on the screen which comes from a Humax 1000s Freesat viewer via Input 3 on the TV.

The TV manual says: "While watching a digital broadcast, you can record the currently viewed programme on the device connected via a SCART connection.
Press the OPTIONS button, select [SCART REC on], then perform the recording operation on the connected device."

Also if I have the input as AV1, the Options menu does not appear on the TV.

Hi Russell,

I think what the manual says translates to digital broadcast that is being received by the TV's built-in tuner. This won't apply on external devices connected to the TV such as your Humax box, probably for copy right protection or privacy.
