Both my TV and my iPhone is connected to the same LAN and should be able to communicate that way.&lt;BR type="_moz" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;it is not a low end tv, and I foolishly expectet sony to upgrade the TV as new tech became avalable.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;Even my cheap set-top-box can do this???&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Message was edited by: mortenpiper&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;I wanted to control my KDL-40lx900 from an iPhone app, and was supprised to leard tha this is not supported for my tv. A google search gave no mantion of a firmvare ugrade for my model that would allow for this. Can this be true in 2013, or is an update pending?&lt;BR type="_moz" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P _mce_style="" style=";"&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
