1.Can this tv be connected to internet so that I can use the Iplayer.

2 How is the Iplayer accesssed and used when and if conncted

Jim,

I don't think this set will connect to the internet.

Look at the back of the set and try to find an ethernet socket, no socket, no internet.

I might be wrong, but also I don't think you can use an internet dongle either

Yes you have iPlayer with this device via Freesat, but this is the only online channel this device is capable of getting and you would need to connect the device via Ethernet/Homeplug as the wifi dongle isn't compatible as far as I know.

If you wanted more channels, you could look at the SMP-N100 which offers the full BRAVIA Internet Video content lineup as well as being wireless.
