Ma laptop has had a few problems with the dvd drive but now they are fixed. Howver now i have aother problm. The ls time i switced it on, i had an update message asking me to restart so i did. However my laptop never came back on. When i switched it on, i got a blue error message and it was displayed for less than a second. So i took the advice from where i purchased the laptop and i tried to rebbot it back to factory settings. However once stage one is complete and i clicked restart like it says the next stage doesen't start. So i left my laptop with comet where i purchased it. It was there for around 1 week, they had no success. Aparently my laptop has 'a serious corrupt error'. What does this mean? Should i try and request a replacement because i have now had no laptop for 3 weeks.

Yeah BSOD and corruption message are not neccessarily terminal. If you have never defragmented or have a virus that can happen from time to time. All you can do is see if it works and if not take it up with Vaio Link
