Hello,

My laptop is a Sony Vaio FS45E
Im running windows xp pro

The power meter in the bottom right corner (near the clock) i have noticed when charging my vaio, the logo has a plug with a lightening bolt through it suggesting that it is charging. However when the charge has reached 100% the battery reports that it is still charging and the lightening bolt in the icon does not disappear.

Is there a remedy to this or is it just a glitch. Thanks David

Hi thanks for a speedy reply, the only reason for asking this was my old laptop, compaq evo n1005v, once charged, the icon in the tray changed to a 'plugged in' state rather than charging (lightening bolt through plug) and repoted to be on AC.
