buzzing sound

Hi everyone

I have a Vaio FS315-B. It is very quiet when it runs by its electric cable but when it runs from battery I hear a low buzzing sound from the battery.

I was wondering if it happens to your notebook as well?

yo mate, welcome to the forum..

My fren got this laptop and have not problem about this VAIO battery.. maybe shall you check with your dealer about that?

hi,i get the same buzzing noise and so is my friend,i think i'm going to check with sony,i will put a reply if you haven't done so before me

I figured out that the noise is coming from LCD. when its brightness is not at its maximum there is a buzzing noise. it's disturbing especially when you work in a quiet environment.

I told Sony about this issue, they picked up my laptop a few days ago and delivered yesterday, but the noise problem is still there.

I contacted them again today. We will see what will happen.

Is there anyone else experiencing this same issue?

Hi Ryu,

The buzzing sound that you have has benn mentioned before, I searched the forum and found these two threads that may be of interest.

Here and here, unfortunately neither thread offers a solution.
