I can't decide whether to go for the sony Vaio E series or T Series and would like to ask a few questions.

I'm wanting a touchscreen laptop for work and narrowed it down to the E Series 14P, and T series 13. I like things to feel quality and so would like to know what material each laptop is made from? I understand that the outer lid of the E series is aluminium but is the rest of the computer plastic? Is the entire T series laptop metal, if so which metal? I have a Macbook Pro at home and love how the whole thing is made from metal.

The downside to the T series is the screen resolution, as it's only 1366 x 768, whereas you can upgrade the E series to 1600 x 900. How bad is the 1366 x 768 display?

Finally, do they have user replaceable hard drives and RAM, so I can upgrae to a SSD at a later date?

Price wise, by the time I've spec'd them up they are a similar price

TIA

Message was edited by: Snerkler
