hi there

Don't know if this has been asked before but the search option seems to be unusable.

Got my FZ31-M with Vista installed and I just got an external SB 5.1 surround USB sound card since there's no way I could get Dolby Digital from normal/blu ray dvd's into my Denon AV amp.

I've managed to install the sound card without any hassle and all is fine apart from the very reason i got it for.

I do get Dolby Digital but I'm suffering from serious drop-outs in sound. It happens a while after I start a film and lasts for a few seconds then comes back on again, and keeps doing this during the entire film which is needless to say is a pain in the neck !!

I've changed the length of the optical cable but still no can do.

Any ideas ??

Cheers
