User profile not loading

Hi
Since loading Vista SP1, my vaio AR41S will not load my user profile. The only way I can start is by starting the PC on the battery, mains off. Once started I can turn the power on. I am unable to restore to a time before loading SP1. All other aspects are fine.

Any ideas.

Can you give us a few more details please?
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by 'will not load my User Profile'
What error message do you get when you try to open it with mains connected?
Can you just explain what happens?

If you get the error message "The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded." then have a look at the solutions in this link: -

Thanks for that, you seem to have the answer in that link. Its 'user profile service failed to logon'. So I will follow the solutions as directed.
