topic External Display - Wrong Resolutions in PCs & Accessories https://community.sony.ie/t5/pcs-accessories/external-display-wrong-resolutions/m-p/165268#M59805 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><P>I have a 19" external display - which I have used for months without any troubles.<BR />The resolution was accidently set outside the range of the monitor, and so it displayed "Out of Range". <BR />But I booted into safe mode and turned it back down. <BR /><BR />However now, its not displaying the correct resolutions for the monitor.<BR />Its showing resolutions that are way out of its range, and the others are all out of aspect for the monitor and look awful.<BR />I have tired the monitor on other computers and it works normally.<BR /><BR />I have used the Recovery discs I created when I first got the laptop to restore it to factory settings, but still it<BR />is not showing the correct resolutions for the monitor.<BR /><BR />Does anyone know whats going on, and more importantly a way I may be able to fix it?<BR /><BR />Thanks.
