Hi

Help me please!
My AR61S is quite new (April 2008) and about 2 months ago I encountered something strange.

During a processor-demanding game the screen suddently went dark. Everything else was OK (sound, HDD etc). In fact it was not completely black, there was a minimal screen power on, so I could see the white-black areas from very close.
I closed the screen for a second, and after re-opening the light was back.
Then it happened again couple times during the game, and also after exiting it, so I restarted the computer. After this it was perfect for about a week or two and I started to forget this problem.
Recently it started again, but a restart was not enough to heal. I also reinstalled the drive C from the recovery DVD-s. For about a week it was OK then it started again. Monitor turns off at random times.

I don't think it is caused by the switch that turns off the screen when I close it, because I can bring monitor light back also by restarting or hibernating without even touching the lid.

When the screen is on again, there is always a random-long time (from 2 second until 1-2 days) until I don't have a blackout, regardless what I'm doing.
I don't think it is the video card's overheating that I read about here because it's not just during games, but quite simple applications as well (reading news on the net, browsing pictures etc). Besides, sometimes I can play for hours without problem and the next day the screen disappears.

Thanks
