Which WI-FI Card???

Hey Everyone, ive just got my first Sony Vaio which will be used @ Uni and im just getting to grips with everything on here. At Uni they provide Wireless internet access and i wanted to know if any of you could reccomend a card for my laptop to be used for this. it uses the 8...ect B type and can provide up to 54mbps
The laptop i have is a PCG-K195BP

hi,

if your notebook doesn't WLAN build-in then i would recomment the following pc-card with x-jack antenna. the antenna can be retracted wich is good wennn you move around a lot plus it saves battery-time

3Com X-Jack

other pc-cards need to be removed if their not in use... otherwise your battery drains fast.

howdy,

is the drive visible when you open up the windows explorer... ???
did nero run the diagnostic tool after you installed it.... ???
does nero have a preferences part were you can tell it which drive ist which... ???

also remove the nerocheck from your registry... it causes weird things on your vaio.... ???

Thanks a lot guys, ive looked into that card and it seems real awsome, i'll get it on Ebuyer.com when i get paid, ive sorted out my cdrw prob, it ended up that the version of Nero i had didnt work well with Win XP so i got a diff one and its all sorted out now
