Listen People,

i was wondering... I have a GRT816M with a P4 running at 2,8 Ghz... a speed which in reality the notebook doesn't even comes close to, so my thought was... if I would replace the processor with a P4 with less GHZ(the bios should detect the lower herz automatically)... say like anything between 2,0-2,4 Ghz... wouldn't that reduce the heatup and improv the battery usage...

has anybody out there ever seperated the processor from their maschine, how is the processor mounted with the heat-sink or pipe... is it glued... or what???

Joe:smileyconfused:
