I can't find your notebook on the sony webside.

click:

start---------->implement(don't know the correct word, I've a german XP
(Ausführen))-------------->write dxdiag and click ENTER

Look for the name from your graphicscard.

Is it a RADEON IGP 345M then it is a shared memory graphicscard.
Higher the shared memory and the system was slow down.
For best perfomenc reduce the shared memory (like 32MB)

Go in to the Bios settup, I think you must click F2 on Systemstart
(when you see the VAIO-logo). There you can change the onboard-shared memory for the graphicscard.

good luck:smileyhappy:

Hi,
Last month I bought this laptop, which I am quite satisfieed with it. Having installed a game on it, and finding out that it runs quite slowly, I looked up the graphics card, which I think is an ATI 128mb, but I discovered that it is only running on 64mb and I can't find out how to change it to 128mb. Can someone help me. Thanks in advance.

Yes, it's in the BIOS. Remember that it is shared memory, so if you add 64Mb to your graphics card RAM, you take away 64Mb from system RAM.

Or you can upgrade the RAM to max. 1GB.

But your NoteBook is not a gaming machine. (like PS2 or XBox)
