I wouldn't bother, it's a nice machine
Get more RAM and defrag on a regular basis.

In principle it's possible. But I see no reason to do that.

In my case it's just curiosity cause i'm thinking doing it in a relativetly far future, or maibe never... cause P-Ms are very expensive and this one do the job.... for now. :smileygrin:

I think you could do that in a desktop system. But in a Laptop it's difficult.
The other problem is, Sony has disable the feature for the control of the CORE-voltage in the BIOS.

If you would insert a CPU which need more energy then the system could be run instable. Because you can't increase the voltage.

You can upgrade the desktop VAIOs, but not the notebook ones.

The RA104 you can't because it's near the top of the P4, so you wouldn't want more power.

To be honest I never really use 3.6Ghz unless I do video work.

LOL, only 2,66GHz here. And the same here I don't need it really. Only for some stuff like encoding a file.

But for LangesHorn you will need 1500Mhz.:smileylaugh:
