Settings and Playstore not opening in Sony xperia Smartphone

Hello everyone,

I could not able to install or uninstall apps, because Settings is automatically closes after few seconds in sony Xperia Smartphone.

please suggest, i can i fix it.

Its Sony xperia Z5.

I didnt get more info on my smartphone.

Try factory reset, or better download the Xperia Companion software on a PC or laptop and perform "Software Repair".

Could you please send me the link for Software and write me how it works by installing it on PC.

I read it in Internet, we lose data when we repair with sony companion software

We had a detailed guide for the Software Repair on the old Xperia community and it should be migrated here soon. The software itself can be downloaded from here, then install it and connect your phone with a data-capable USB cable.

It indeed wipes your internal memory so use the same software to backup your data (but don't add Settings to the backup) then attempt the Software Repair. It should be self-explanatory with you just hitting "Next" and confirming the process. There's a short guide also here.
