topic problem code 43 in eReaders

My EReader PRS-600 has stopped being recognised by my laptop and is showing problem code 43. I have tried it with another computer with the same result. It has worked OK for about a year and has only just started causing a problem is there anything I can do?

I don't know the 600, but presumably it has a re-set facility, hard or soft ?

Someone out there might know what a 43 is.

U sual practice is try a soft reset if it has this.

Hard reset's usually mean you lose everything on the device.

You have run a-v ?

Read this (lengthy! ) thread, too.

PRS-600 won't sync or transfer files from computer to Reader. Can anyone help please, Manual is useless for this problem.

It is in lower left panel on your thread page...
