Hello,

I am experiencing a wobbly effect with my video footage and I am unsure what the issue could be. It seems that the issue I am having is different than the typical "jello effect". Here is a youtube video I uploaded of an example of my footage: https://youtu.be/RrOdXJTSUJE

At the time of filming, the camcorder was mounted on the bonnet of my car with a Delkin mount, this one in particular: https://www.amazon.com/Delkin-DDMNT-TRIPLE-Gecko-Three-Arm-Suction/dp/B0023ZK2TY/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=delkin&qid=1585194189&sr=8-1&th=1

As you can see in the video, I am stationary and the wobbly effect still occurs. I have some footage while my car was in motion and that footage does not have this wobbly effect. That being said, I do have some footage that has this wobbly effect while the car is in motion.

The information below is a quick run down of some settings my camcorder was set to at the time of filming:

Camcorder: Sony FDR-AX33

Rec Mode - 100Mbps

File Format - XAVC S 4K

Frame Rate - 24p

Shutter Speed - 48

Steady Shot - Active

SD Card - SanDisk 170Mb/s

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would be happy to provide more information if you think there is something else that could be contributing to the problem.

Hi there,

As you already mention that you have the SteadyShot function activated, I would recommend getting in touch with the Sony Support team here who will be able to advise further.

Best wishes,

Sean
