All my videos are coming out grainy on the HDR CX240E doesnt matter what quality i record them on, they are still grainy and very grainy when i play them back on HDTV.

Without taking a look at your recorded footage, it is not possible to identify the issue you describe.

If you wouldn't mind, I would be very happy if you would upload a sample video to YouTube and maybe post still frames here as images.
